We are a family owned modern Italian restaurant and bar run by the proprietor Joe Lynch and his son Ryan Lynch. The name Con Amici comes from the Italian family and friends dining ethos which translates to eating with friends where families and close friends come together to have a meal around a table whether it is at home or in a restaurant, making it a big event. This is what we want our customers to experience when they visit our restaurant.

We love this place, and today was no exception. Possibly we had a new staff member, so were delivered jam instead of marmalade, and only one pat of butter between two, none delivered with the croissant, so just tiny but unexpected things.

Lovely meal with family. Food was excellent and enjoyed by all of us! Our only slight issue was that it was way too cold in there and radiators only seemed to be slightly warm not hot. We will definitely come again but think we will wait until summer as the beer garden looks lovely too.

We planned a weekend break in Dolgellau and Y Sospan was booked two weeks before the trip. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. It'll be on our wish list anytime we are in North Wales and want a decent meal.
