- WWendySan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoPossibly the best steak I've ever had! Our waiter, Benny, was a wonderful host. He demonstrated exceptional care about our experience and was a great resource as we tried to choose among the many tempting items on the menu. Glad we took his recommendations and his advice - those rolls...wow. They landed it my favorites sublist of "my last meal" picks. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so special. The attention by every member of your team during every moment of the evening was sublime and welcome. Loved the atmosphere. A very memorable evening.More infoSteak 48 - Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Del Mar•4.9
- JJamesVIPSan Diego •23 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe dined here on a Tuesday evening, to celebrate my wife's birthday. We chose to sit outside, so that we could enjoy the ocean. We got a 4:00 early dinner reservation, so that we would have some daylight before the sunset after 5:00 (January). It was a bit chilly outside, but they have ample propane heaters, so we were very comfortable. The view of the ocean is great from their patios. We shared an Empanada appetizer to start. It was not my favorite. The shell was very hard, and insides were a bit meager. However, both of our entrees were excellent. I had the Seafood Pasta, and my wife had the Paella. If you enjoy seafood, and we do, they were both really, really good. As it was my wife's birthday, the restaurant provided a free dessert for her, which was a kind of bread pudding cake with ice cream and some fruit. It was quite good. The restaurant wound up getting pretty busy, but since we were sitting outside, there was no noise for us, just the ocean waves. I can't say what the noise level was like inside in the dining rooms. We have now eater here 3 times, stretched out over maybe a period of around 1 1/2 years. The restaurant has been under construction that entire time, which is somewhat disconcerting when you drive up to it, as it looks from the street like it might be closed. This construction didn't impact our experience on any of our visits, but I find it odd that it has gone on for so long, making me wonder if the restaurant ran into financial or permit problems. The space that is being renovated I believe was previously a separate restaurant that they are basically absorbing, but I could be wrong about that. One final thing to know is that they have very limited parking, so you will most likely valet, which costs $8. All in all, we had a great experience, and our waitress Ruby was a delight, and I heartily recommend dinner there to everyone. I also recommend that you come early to get the best table, as they do get very busy.More infoPacific Coast Grill - CardiffPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Cardiff By The Sea•4.8

The food, service and location were amazing. Sidney was our waitstaff and she understood the assignment and made sure to deliver a memorable meal for us. Kudos to T&S Restaurants for NOT being a part of the Landry’s chains! You are special and deserve to remain independent and deliver the highest quality food and service that you have been know to do for 50 years!!More infoJake's Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Del Mar•4.7
- AAmyAnchorage / Alaska •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 17, 2025Great experience sitting at the bar, with Joy as our server/bartender. A one woman show! She was busy, but still making sure to check in on us. She was fun and easy to talk to, and made an honest menu suggestion that was perfect! It's also a plus to be able to have a bite there and wait for the line to go down, then have direct access to the venue next door without leaving the restaurant. What a perk! Side note - ticket prices to see a show at the Belly Up are beyond reasonable!More infoTavernPrice: Moderate• American• Solana Beach•4.9
- PpatrickSan Diego •14 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024Amazing food, first of all. The service was good, the staff was very attentive to all patrons and it wasn't one individual person, the entire staff is there to help. The menu is a great assortment of various breakfast items with many of them being signature dishes. My table ordered the Chicken Marsala, the Reuben sandwich, Loaded Fries, Short Rib Hash and a single pancake. The Chicken Marsala was juicy and the marsala sauce and mushrooms were just so tasty and perfect and it was paired with some DELICIOUS potatoes and asparagus. If you are a Chicken Marsala fan, I would highly recommend this!! The Reuben sandwich was just delicious. The amount of Corned Beef in the sandwich was enormous and the servings size is HUGE, paired with some of the best crispy fries I've had, next to of course their LOADED Fries! The same crispy fries but now just with their white cheddar sauce and chunks of bacon, that was the HIT at our table!! Lastly was the Short Rib Hash, the potatoes again were amazing and the tender juicy chunks of Beef Short Rib were just everywhere in that bowl, and all topped off with a fried egg!! This place is great, the vibe is calming and not loud, perfect breakfast spot to just meet up, enjoy a meal and have a great conversation without having to battle all the other conversations that other restaurants deal with. This is just a great place!!More infoSunny Side SolanaPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Solana Beach•4.3
