Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century.     It is so beautiful the staff are amazing very knowledgeable if you ask about one of the dishes we had the garlic prawns for our starter it was amazing the sauce was to die for then the meat platter came and wow it was beautiful but before that they brought dips and a lovely lovely bread and a long plate with salad olives & cheese the toilets were very clean and several staff passing your table check with you if everything is ok and can they get you anything well worth a visit I will be going there again

    Food was delicious - great to try a sharing board and different cuts. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Only thing I’d say as a heads up is to point out which cut is which when serving the plate ~ not a biggy as they were very helpful when asked . Side dishes were SPOT ON. Caroline was a lovely waitress - personable , attentive and chatty
