Restaurants near Budget Host Inn and Suites Cameron

We attended the Valentines dinner and while the food and service at table were excellent, we very much experienced feeling like a number. It was an over booked event will little individual attention and multiple servers having to tag team. The front entry waiting area was quite crowded. The “formal” attire suggested was not adhered to as one would expect of this caliber establishment. Some in attendance were wearing Carhartt and camo with Crocs. So standards could be improved. But we were glad to be served. Our server did charge our CC for a different table and had to refund it, but we understood in the chaos.

Went for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing! A little boy (assuming the owner’s son) came around to every woman in the restaurant and gave them a long stemmed red rose. Food was great as always and I asked the waiter to surprise me with a drink and it was also amazing!

The food was delicious, but this steak house is high end so very expensive. We knew going in it would be expensive. You do not get food that delicious without paying for it. We were celebrating our 30-year anniversary, and we wanted something out of the ordinary and that is exactly what we got. Everything was to our liking except it took a long time to get our food. Other than that, I still give my experience 5 stars.

Food and drinks were excellent! The only negative is the tables in the back room are a little too close together, difficult to get in and out of the booth without feeling like I was crowding the other patrons. Our server was so nice and sweet. We will definitely be returning!

We had such a good experience yesterday we went again today! Tried all new things today and they didn't disappoint! The cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious and the dressing on the greens that accompanied the omelette was so refreshing! We requested sitting in Angel's section again today and it was really neat that he remembered us and made good recommendations for today. Two of the three of us have been servers before and know how difficult it can be so we really appreciate great service--Angel scores a 10 out of 10 for GREAT service! Going to miss this place when we go home! Might need to take some biscuits and the butter flight home with me to eat on the plane! 🙂
