Restaurants near Budget Inn Lakehurst

First time eating at The Edge restaurant. It did not disappoint. The first time we go to a new restaurant, we order a burger. We figure if they can’t cook a good burger then we don’t go back. We had the best burger!! We are definitely going back!! The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. Our server, sierra was wonderful. Great experience and would recommend highly!

Everything was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. We were shown to our tables and with two smalls kids, we were first asked if the table was acceptable. This felt like a breath of fresh air- to have others validate the concern of table space and comfortability when dining with your kids. Our waiter, Mike, was patient and kind to my kids. He told us about all the specials and drink options he thought we’d enjoy. He told us his favorites which swayed us in to ordering the potato spuds for an appetizer. There was no hesitation after the first bite that Mike did not steer us wrong. Our entrees were cooked to perfection. We ordered drinks, based on Mikes recommendations, that were customized to our celebrations (birthday and new years). This made us feel like Mike really took the time out to make sure we had the best experience possible. During our dessert, another server Dan, stopped by our table to wish us a happy birthday and to acknowledge how well behaved my kids were being. I appreciate coming to a restaurant where we can eat amazing food, have really great drinks, and have an over the top experience. Thank you Mike and 618 for a perfect night for my family.

It was pretty busy that night with some large parties. Service was a bit slow but the server did check in with us to let us know she would be back, etc. We had the filet (special for that day) and the crabcakes. Both were delicious. It is BYOB as well which we like so the total price was very reasonable for us. I recommend.

Exceptional all around experience at Char Q. Service and food were excellent!

Rosie’s never disappoints! We went for Christmas Eve and although it was an absolute full house, the service never skipped a beat! The staff is lovely and beyond welcoming. Delicious meal! Delicious drinks. The absolute GEM of Ocean Gate! Must try!!
