Jeff Ruby's was the perfect choice for my special birthday dinner! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. The ambiance was elegant, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and left us wanting more. To top off the night, we indulged in the Jordan Shoe Chocolate cake, which was a showstopper! Not only was it visually impressive, but its rich chocolate flavor made it the perfect sweet ending to our celebration. An amazing ambiance celebrating the Cuban culture! Started off with bread wrapped in newspaper depicting a print from the 1950’s. Guava butter and cilantro lime butter were offered. Both were delicious! Tried the shrimp ceviche that has a tomato base with thinly sliced red onion, and cilantro. It was very refreshing just as the waitress described. My husband ordered the Ropa Vieja en Lata and didn’t know it means “beef in a can”. It was served table side by a waiter that described the canning process and the titles meaning. He proceeded to open and serve the perfectly cooked beef along with white rice and fried plantains. I had the salmon Varadero served with yellow rice and fried plantains. I could not resist adding a side of black beans. Everything exceeded our expectations! The service was impeccable and we will be back!

We have always done dinner at this amazing restaurant. Today was our first brunch. I would have to say , they continue to amaze us. The blue crab omelette was out of this world amazing. The thick cut bacon was something that could be a dish by itself. The wife got the French dip sub. The beef was perfect, the dip was on point . The horseradish dip was fire 🔥. The hand cut fries were perfectly salted and crisp. Once again blown away by this restaurant ability to provide amazing experience and food.

The Baller pizza special is excellent and should be part of the regular menu. Great to see Black Sheep experimenting with the menu with new offerings. Columbus is fortunate to have a classy downtown restaurant and the community seems to be responding positively. Black Sheep appears to be busy every night.

The Valentine's day event was really neat. My wife and I really enjoyed it.
