Now the city is home to embassies from many countries, giving the area an air of diversity, while preserving the history of local commerce with a modern, nostalgic touch. My family thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The seating is very tight, with tables so close to each other. But, the overall ambiance was great, as were the servers. We started with a delicious bottle of COS Nero di Lupo wine, from Sicily. Our app for the 3 of us, was the Buratta, which when spread on the great bread for the table, was really good. My wife had the bucatini cacio e pepe was good, but a bit gummy. Taste was great. My son had the Ossobuco ravioli in its sauce, pecorino fondue, thyme and lemon. He rated that as excellent! I tasted and agreed. I opted for the Green Tagliatelle with Wild Boar Ragù Flavoured with Herbs and Black Truffle. Fantastic! When I made the reservation, I noted that we were there for my older son's birthday. They surprised him with cannolis and a candle. Nice touch! One additional comment, there are many wine options, but the vast majority are quite expensive. The one bottle I asked for, which was somewhat reasonable, was of course, out of stock. The bottle we did get was $25 more, but as stated above, delicious. I do highly recommend this restaurant!

Recently had Christmas Eve dinner here and what a memorable experience it was. Ten years had passed since I last dined here, and I swear it's gotten better with age. First of all, the place was quite the scene - even on Christmas Eve! The food was as I remember it: out of this world. The Mezzi Rigatoni with white veal bolognese knocked my socks off. (I opted to top it with shaved black truffle. Decadent, but hey - it was Christmas!) The desserts looked so scrumptious we ordered three for the two of us! The dark chocolate budino was so soft and smooth it was like butter, while the blood orange sorbet was worth ordering a third dessert for. And of course, it wouldn't have been memorable if it were not for the perfect service. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and his recommendations were all spot-on. This is a special place and I can't wait to go back!
