Restaurants near Capital Park

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. The restaurant called me a couple of days before and asked for his name. Our table had printed special menu with a note saying happy birthday and his name on it. It was very special and he really enjoyed his birthday. Staff was amazing and food was unbelievable. We will definitely be back in the future.

Took my mom here on a Saturday night. We did the 5:30p seating. Decor and mood lighting was gorgeous! Owner made his rounds and greeted us. Our server, Julian, was attentive, frequently checked on us, and was well versed in the menu and specials. Smaller tables to accommodate the smaller Main Street venue, but they make it work where you don’t feel too crammed. Unfortunately a lot of noise as we were in a dining room with a larger party going on. Food was delicious- I ordered the homemade fettuccini and my mom the cherry braised short rib!! Recommend both!! Overall a truly lovely Italian spot at an easy location in town! Thank you, Bici!!

Oh what a meal each and everyone of the four us was well feed. We had Caesar Salad, one of us had fish which was perfectly cooked. I had steak, again perfectly prepared as I like! The others had filet mignon that was fabulous. It is my number one close to home spot!

The Saddle River Inn is by far the best restaurant in Bergen county. My guests traveled all the way from Brooklyn, NY, and were absolutely in awe of the entire experience. The Christmas holiday decorations adding an extra layer of magic and charm to the already stunning ambiance. The food was perfection—every dish bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. The entire menu was a hit! Even my foodie guests, who are used to Brooklyn’s top dining spots, couldn’t stop raving about it. With the festive decor, cozy-yet-elegant vibe, and next-level cuisine, the Saddle River Inn made our holiday gathering truly unforgettable.

Lovely Christmas luncheon with my staff. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with long-standing very attentive staff. Spinach pie is always a standout along with any fish. A wonderful leisurely lunch.
