We loved it! The ambience , friendliness of staff and food are amazing. We absolutely adore the surroundings and decor. Definitely must stop at Mattei’s Tavern while in Los Olivos!

Francesca was fantastic. We celebrated my wife’s birthday. I had the pork chop and it was perfectly cooked. The Laphroig element was new to me and nice change from the wine I had enjoyed all day. Fucili (spelled that wrong) pasta was incredible. I snuck a bite or two off her plate when she went to the ladies room. They brought her perfuta rolls for dessert that were lovely. Hit the mark on every way for this meal. Will absolutely come back soon.

31st anniversary dinner and as always it was the perfect place. Our table had rose pedals and a card on it, my wife was given a rose when we arrived and of course the food was excellent and I ate too much. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or just have a great meal

After 15 years it is still the best pork chops I’ve ever had. I traveled 2 hours to get there 15 years ago. This time we stayed in Solvang from San Diego and had to go again. We made reservations since the place is always packed! It was a sheer delight to eat, perfect service and an amazing value.

Our meal and service were impeccable! From the very moment we walked in with our two little kids, the maitre’d made us feel so welcome. He also made sure the kitchen accommodated my little one with a severe food allergy. The food came out quickly and every bite was exceptional. The service was so friendly from our waiter to our busser and everyone in between. I was very impressed and am excited to return again and again. Thank you!
