My favorite Italian restaurant! Actually, my favorite restaurant! Their salmon is cooked perfectly -- not all the way through, which is hard to find in local restaurants. So moist ( and I love sashimi, so you can image how wonderful it is to find a chef that knows how to cook their daily delivery of seafood), and delicately spiced, served on couscous and broccoli rabe that melts in your mouth. And the service -- ah, perfectly timed and served with a warm smile. Right on the spot when water needs replenished or a dessert needs to e ordered. Yep, it is the little things that count in this restaurant like the noise level is so low that you can have a conversation without raising your voice. I always have a hard time choosing among the desserts -- usually, the creme brulee wins my vote, but I am not fond of pumpkin, this winter season's choice flavor, so the Chocolate Nemesis flour-less cake has been winning lately, over the butterscotch richness of the Pot de Creme or the yummy goodness of the Pear Oil Cake (YES, I have had them all here). The Nemesis is close to fudge, and I am a chocoholic, so this is as close to bliss in texture and taste in a closing act to top off a meal. And if you are not into seafood, the braised short rib beef dinner entree served with veggies is hearty and filling with an amazing sauce. Some day I am going to order the Pork Belly, and I say this often, but so far I usually opt for the salmon.

We decided to not cook Thanksgiving this year and go to a restaurant, there are just 5 of us. I received an email from Black Angus telling about their Thanksgiving Turkey day dinner. We've been going to Black Angus for over 30 years, so we knew it was a good place. I made reservations a few weeks ago. They checked with me the day before to make sure we were still coming. We arrived 5 min early. The place was PACKED but we were seated within 10 mins. The greeter was good, and the server was great. 3 of us had the turkey dinner and 2 ate beef. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, and I took leftovers of my dinner and my piece of pie and enjoyed them later. It was a wonderful and relaxing family get together. I would recommend it highly!!

I was extremely happy with my meal. I'm trying to eat a bit healthier and ordered the salmon bowl with Brussel sprouts, salad, salmon and rice. Delicious, just the right amount of food! Presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were melt in your mouth terrific! I'd order it again! Our waitress and bus person were super friendly and inviting.

Our first time eating here. Joined friends for a delightful night. Excellent food, excellent wait staff, spectacular mid mod ambiance, delicious cocktails. We had a wonderful experience in the dining room, and can’t wait to come back so we can enjoy the outdoor patio when it stops raining. We highly recommend Shangri-la!

Terrific food and service. Freezing cold inside to the point my wife and I had to wear our coats.
