- JJamesIndiana •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIt was very good. We used to go often when Ryan was the chef and the new chef (I think his brother) wasn’t putting out the same quality dishes so we stopped going for a couple years. We decided to try again for Valentine’s this year and it was really good. The pork ribeye was to die for, an extremely balanced meal! The shrimp risotto wasn’t bad, but was very bland. Not much flavor to the dish unfortunately. Service was okay, friendly staff, but definitely not trained in true fine dining. That is the one thing we do miss about this place. The general manager a few years ago they brought in to turn things around was absolutely phenomenal! Since he has been gone the service hasn’t been the same. We will probably go back sometime but will just have to know the experience isn’t the same as before unfortunately.More infoArtisanPrice: Expensive• American• Elkhart•4.8

Unable to order the salad for my vegetarian wife. So she got Hummus which was great. The glaze on the Tofu was not palatable for her. So only food item that wasn’t excellent. Wish they would have let her order the pear salad off the Valentines menu for 2. Also, parking was supposed to be included but they said lot was full with 2 open spots visible. We made the best of it and even survived going to get the car in the snow at the bookstore lot. Shocked I said excellent but really enjoyed having dinner with my wife and son at Rohr.More infoRohr’sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• South Bend•4.8

Although it took a little while for our waiter to get to us, other staff members were readily available and brought us water.More infoBrasserie 23Price: Moderate• French• South Bend•4.7

We had good service and server was very knowledgeable of menu and specials. Dessert options are amazing! The serving size is quite large definitely shareable . This was our first time here. Very eclectic decor reflective of the restaurant's name. Warm and inviting. There was a light crowd this evening and everyone was having good conversation and laughs. One note and we are not sure if it is like this all the time but the time between courses was a bit long. We were glad we had a 5 pm reservation as it took a little over 2.5 hours . We did not mind the time but it was unexpected. We will be back again!More infoYesterday's Food & SpiritsPrice: Moderate• American• Granger•4.9

We don't eat as much as we used to.More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - South BendPrice: Moderate• American• South Bend•4.7
