We visited Coet Brasserie in Edinburgh for their Christmas Festive Menu, and it was fantastic! The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavor, showcasing real creativity. The wine and drinks selection was excellent, perfectly complementing the festive meal. What truly stood out was the staff—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. I made a reservation at Huxley's so I could have breakfast with my mother. What a great discovery. Everything on the menu looked so good, we had to call on a staff member to advise us! I finally had eggs bennies Florentine and my mom had the Huxley. The hot chocolate was delicious. The space is warm and the staff very welcoming.

A lovely cosy wee place at the end of Rose Street. Food, service and ambience were excellent. Definitely one of Edinburgh’s hidden gems.

Fabulous food and terrific service. Every course was delicious from starters through to desert. The garlic prawns were outstanding and the streaks and fish mains cooked to perfection. The level of service matched the food. First visit to the Edinburgh branch of The Spanish Butcher but won’t be the last.

It was absolutely amazing. The venison Wellington was to die for, and very reasonably priced. The processes of meat explanation and choice of weapon (aka, knives) were entertaining, and made the meal that much more enjoyable. Louise, our server, was so kind and thorough- she deserves a raise and every major holiday off. And as a bonus, the manager is very charming and handsome :) Definitely stop by if you get the chance!
