Dahoam Wir verstehen uns nicht in erster Linie als Restaurant, sondern als Gast-Haus. In unserem Haus kann sich der Gast so wohl fühlen wie daheim und so gut speisen wie in Mutters Küche. Kaum ein Berliner, der uns nicht kennt. Kaum ein Gast, der nicht gerne immer wiederkommt - seit bald 20 Jahren. Denn wir sind eine Oase österreichischen Wohllebens inmitten preußischer Askese. Wir haben uns in den Kopf gesetzt, für Essen Zeit aufzuwenden, bei der Zubereitung wie beim Verzehr. Bei uns wird noch kompromisslos mit der Hand gekocht, nach den klassischen alpenländischen Rezepten. Schmeckt hier ein Schnitzel noch nach echter Butter? Eine Rindssuppe noch nach Rind? Ein Semmelknödel wie aus Omas Kochtopf? Dreimal Ja. Und auf einen edlen Tropfen Wein direkt vom österreichischen Winzer nicht verzichten.     The staff were wonderful - very accomodating, helpful with questions and generally nice in an easy-going manner. Our food was excellent. The portions may not seem gigantic, but they don't need to be as we were all (4 people with big appetites) completely full and satisfied. And for such a large space, we found it not too loud at all. And then of course there's the magnificent view over the zoo! Thank you NENI Team!

    Always a great experience - a great combination of traditional and seasonal options foodwise. Service is attentive without crowding. Location is just so open, modern, but yet German at the same time - one of our favorite places in Berlin for more than a decade.

    Lovely little place, me and my wife go back quite a bit and the menu is constantly changing so there's always something interesting to try. Service is perfect, not too intrusive but attentive. Awesome wine list too. Have brought groups of our friends here as well as dates nights and the place works for all occasions. Just don't tell everyone about it though!
