We enjoyed the tuna tartare, octopus, tomato salad, portobello mushroom and eggplant dishes - all delicious! We’ll be back!More infoMarcusPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Downtown•4.5
- JJosephVIPGreater Boston •22 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat a delight! I came in for my birthday lunch! Visiting Montreal solo for a few days and this place did not disappoint! Sparkling water and steak tartare to start, then the beef Bourguignon and a side of focaccia bread and a Pinot noir. Finished off the experience with a Kir Imperial ( similar to Kir royale)! The waiter was fantastic and did not rush me, as I sat and enjoyed my drink and read a book for a bit. What a special gem!More infoBar GeorgePrice: Expensive• British• Downtown•4.6
- CChristophNew Orleans / Louisiana •13 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was the first time I chose the Pois Penche for a business dinner after I read the reviews. It was also a cold day and we didn't want to walk outside for a long time especially as my visitors were out-of-town. The food was outstanding but the service was slow. One of my guests had his appetizer in front of him for at least 10 minutes if not longer before he got his wine to taste. It took another five minutes until he got a glass with the wine. We were there early and the restaurant got busier later but the waiter seemed to be chatting with his tables a lot. We also like to chat but it's much better with a glass of wine. As I said before the food was very good and I will probably come back but I hope next time the service will be better. Especially with business visitors you expect to have a perfect dinner.More infoLe Pois PenchéPrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- MMariaVancouver / British Columbia •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIt was a wonderful lunch and the food was excellent. Fernando was our waiter and it was a pleasure to be served by someone so pleasant and attentive. I will want to sit in his section every time. It was a bit noisy as it was lunch time and filled with business people but the noise abated by 1:30. A wonderful experience and congrats to the whole staff and management. See you again very soon.
