A wonderful meal in an excellent restaurant with an upscale atmosphere.

Being this was our first try, we were impressed by the low key atmosphere of the restaurant. The detail behind the description of the food by Molly, our server, was something you do not experience everywhere you go. The service was quick and we were out of the door in a little over an hour. We will be back and it is a hidden gem in the heart of Lafayette.

The food at Ruth’s is always great! Our server, Jerry, was attentive and friendly and made our dining experience very enjoyable.

We love Charley G's! Food is always consistently excellent. Husband and I had crab cakes and a cup of turtle soup. He also had the house salad which he said was the best salad he's ever had at a restaurant. We also shared the Cajun smashed potatoes which were delicious. One son had a house salad and a bowl of gumbo. He said the gumbo was delicious but there wasn't enough of it. The other son had the fish special -- sheepshead filet with a crawfish creme sauce with lump crab and 3 fried oysters on top of mashed potatoes. He said it was "out of this world." Charley G's is a great "special occasion" restaurant and the perfect place to take out-of-town guests.
