Amazing time ….must try this place great food and an amazing time

We shared bacon wrapped shrimp, lettuce wraps and chicken potstickers and I couldn’t decide which was best. Every loved their entrees from filet migon to flatbread pizza, several chicken dishes and a gnocchi. Everything was delicious. The desserts were amazing and service was excellent. We will be back for sure.

I had a great experience overall. I would definitely go back with friends. The drinks, service and ambience were immaculate. I just felt like the food definitely needed more seasoning, but it was still good. 

Eating at Stonewood is always a favorite choice. Our waitress, Sierra, was especially AWESOME last night. Our food was delish! Usually, I get the Cedar Plank prepared salmon. I wanted a lighter fare last night so I had a bowl of the Onion Soup and the Asian Salad. The Cedar Plank prepared Salmon is always wonderful. It's tasty and crispy crusted. Just right for biting into! However, wanting a soup and salad last night was a great decision. The Onion Soup was prepared just right. It had a beautiful base broth, with a round of bread that I believe they toasted with butter. And then ofcourse that wonderful cheese layer - Wow - I may do that again. Topped off, by the fact that whoever runs that restaurant, has trained the staff to make us feel like home! Sierra, who waited on is, could not have been nicer. She checked back on us several times to make sure that we had exactly what we wanted. It was a really nice evening with wonderful friends.

This is one of our go-to, date-night, local eateries. I think it is one of the best scratch-made Italian in Jacksonville, and while it's not cheap, you'll find it is on par for price with the big chain Italian eateries. Get a reservation, as they can get busy even on weeknights. It's hard to find a good Italian place in Florida, and this is one of the better ones we've discovered.
