- PPaulNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined todayBefore coming here I heard they had great steaks/food. I also read it was ranked as a top steakhouse in CT. Expectations were met. I would highly recommend. The steaks were perfectly cooked. Our waitress was also great. She explained the menu, all the way down to the different butters, kept our drinks full, and even though we didn’t order desert brought a nice treat with a birthday candle. It was very nice and great customer service.More infoJ. Gilbert’s – Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood – GlastonburyPrice: Expensive• Steak• Glastonbury•4.8
- JJuliaNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIf you’re in search of a dining experience that beautifully combines luxury with a comforting atmosphere, look no further than The Old Inn On the Green! This charming restaurant perfectly blends modern elegance with warm, rustic elements. As soon as you step inside, you’re welcomed by soft candlelight and the gentle crackling of a wood fireplace, creating an incredibly inviting and cozy ambiance. The 3-course menu, complete with delightful amuse-bouches, showcases the best seasonal ingredients with impressive creativity. The chef clearly has a passion for local produce, and it truly shines in every dish, offering wonderful options to satisfy every palate. What truly elevates the experience is the exceptional service. Eric, the General Manager, and his attentive team strike the perfect balance between being friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring you feel at home without it being intrusive. Our server Owen was genuinely enthusiastic, eager to share recommendations and details about each dish. This level of care truly made our visit special. In summary, The Old Inn On the Green is an essential destination for anyone who appreciates beautifully crafted cuisine in an enjoyable setting. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply treating yourself to a nice night out, this restaurant excels across the board—in flavor, atmosphere, and service. - EElizabethVIPNew York City •26 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoArethusa was a special place for an anniversary celebration. The food was delicious and service spot on. There were actually more appetizer selections than mains but the entrees were interesting with an emphasis on fish. If there is anything to mention the restaurant could have been a little warmer since the door opens directly onto the dining room and it was a cold night.More infoArethusa al TavoloPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bantam•4.9
- EEricGreater Boston •21 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025Our visit started with our waiter Blake greeting us and giving us a short rundown of what’s not on the expansive menu. From there he delivered perfect drinks and guided us on our oyster choice. We then had the sushi boat for two and it was not only HUGE but everything was excellent. $75 for the boat we felt was a bargain. We were too full for dessert but what we did see at other tables looked incredible.More infoAt The RooftopPrice: Expensive• American• Canton•4.7
- RRyanNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025We had a wonderful anniversary again this year at Millwrights! Last year we did the Chefs Tasting Menu "A tour of our cuisine" and it did not disappoint in the slightest. My wife also did the beverage pairing with the tasting menu and I opted to go with a few of their cocktails. Everything across the board was tremendous, atmosphere, service, food, drinks, everything. Yes the restaurant is on the expensive side but you are paying for an extremely wonderful unique experience. 10/10 will return again!More infoMillwright's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Simsbury•4.8
