In 2018 we changed hands and partnered with Ransom Wine and Spirits. Established in 1997, Ransom is celebrating 25 years as an alembic distillery, artisan wine company and vermouth house. Twice a year some old friends from Chicago visit their son & his family in Portland, and we always meet halfway (I live in Newport) for lunch while they're in Oregon. Over the years we've gone to many of the fine vineyards & restaurants in the wine country but always gravitate back around to Dundee Bistro, not only for its fine cuisine but also for its stylish yet comfortable ambience, its seating options (we like to be outdoors in summer, by the fireplace in winter), and its attentive but never intrusive service.

Our absolute favorite restaurant! Brought my brother here and he was amazed by the food too. Hands down best Italian food and love the fresh pasta! Our waiter was so friendly and nice and love the atmoshpere. We all loved every dish we got and can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed a wonderful tasting - my wife had the wine flight and i did a distillery flight. Came home with the Barrel Aged Old Tom Gin and a bottle of bourbon!
