Restaurants near Durham Heritage Centre and Museum

The most amazing food and staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

It’s my second time visiting Durham and had to come to this restaurant again. It was as good as I remembered, the food is delicious, the service is great and the ambiance transports you to Turkey! It’s on my must visit list for whenever I come to Durham again.

Had a great meal, the flat iron steak is delicious and very good price. Everything is beautifully presented, and tastes as good as it looks. The only ever so slight minus was that the chips have changed. We always get the triple cooked chips and they have been in the past exceptionally good, and thick cut. Now they are skinny chips and while very good, not as good as previously. Please bring back the thick cut chips.

Lovely hidden gem in Durham. Food was first class, service was equally good . Highly recommended.
