Restaurants near Earlyworks Museum Complex

Nice atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation and hear each other talk. The service was excellent. The Crab cakes had very good flavor, but were a bit small. The filet and Cowboy Ribeye steaks were excellent, maybe a bit too much salt and seasoning. They were out of New York Strip steaks. The Creamed Spinach was good. The Asparagus was crisp but almost no seasoning or flavor. The New Fashion drink was quite good, but the Manhattan was low on alcohol. Deserts were very good. $$$$.

CHAR in Huntsville is always a delight. From the moment you are greeted and then seated, everything is cordial, professional, and tasty. Alex, our wait person, was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The eight-ounce filet was cooked perfectly medium-rare, tender, and juicy. The salad had excellent portions and was a nice balance of complementary greens. The wine list is superior to most of Huntsville's restaurants. And the desert was great, as always: perfectly smooth creme brulet with a thin bruleed sugar top and the pecan pie with ice cream and caramel could not have been better. We will return to Char often!

We had a wonderful time. Our server, Dwight was attentive but not over-bearing. The food and drinks were spot on per usual. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, and pumpkin cheesecake dessert!

First time there. It was really great. Had appetizers and drinks outside on the roof. It was all great and Briana, our server, was exceptional. The maître d’ was also very nice and checked on us. I might have found the new date night location. Will return.
