- HHeleneNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGreeted and taken to our table upstairs. The restaurant even at 12:50 was very busy. Lovely cozy clean vibe busy with staff who were very attentive. We were shortly over to a better table by the window which was also a little larger. I had a voucher for my birthday. Don’t know how they knew, but they gave me a glass of champers which was so kind. We both went for the Sunday roasts, both cooked beautifully but unfortunately were on the tepid side (we like our gravy steaming) so it chilled the food a little. I also had a pear and almond pudding with extra hot (I asked) custard, Devine. We would definitely recommend this Bistro, prices were moderate also. Cant fault the service. Looking forward to going back.More infoThe Broad CharePrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8

- KKenDurham/County Durham •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had planned to visit Sheepfolds after all the recent press to check out the restaurants but following a recommendation from a friend the previous day we decided to go for Vito's. We had a fantastic evening and wouldn't hesitate to go back, it was relatively quiet when we visited as we decided to go out for 'tea' but the ambience of the venue was stunning. Service was first class and the food was out of the this world, we all had something different and not one of us were disappointed. Very tasty, authentic food which looked the part too and a good choice of options.More infoVito's OsteriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sunderland•4.8
- RRonnieNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoEasily the best dining experience in Newcastle. This is a gem of a place which is a must for dining. There is a set menu for those on a budget which is outstanding quality and choice. Or if you are in the mood for more the a la carte is a great option. The selection of dishes are seasonally based and cater for all diets - you will not be disappointed. Service and ambience are a delight and as soon as you walk in you are made to feel welcome and important. We are not from Newcastle but every time we visit (this is now our third dining experience) we make a point of going here and will definitely return.More infoBlackfriars RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
