My friends and I had dinner at The Local. We were very pleased with the food and cocktails. Chad was our waiter and he was great. Very attentive. The location was great as it was in walking distance to our rental as well as walkable to the Downtown Mall area.

The food was amazing! The steak was literally, like butter. The caesar salad was delicious, dressing had just the right amount of tang. We had the lobster Mac n cheese, smashed red potatoes and brussel sprouts. Would repeat every one of these dishes! The cherry crème brûlée was unique but not outlandish! Loved the luxardo cherries on top! Our waitress was lovely, made great recommendations and checked on us often. Will definitely be back.

3in our group ordered the ribeye and u got the special that was a filet with lump crab meat. Everything was delicious. Can’t remember our server’s name but he was very attentive and nice.

The atmosphere was casual. The food was amazing. We started with a black bean hummus appetizer. My friend had the catfish soup and I had the sirloin and duck fat fries. I ordered three specialty sauces to compliment the meat. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Fries were great too. We took home a dessert because we were so full but we couldn’t pass up one of their homemade treats. Missy was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly. We would definitely go back and try another dish next time in town.
