- EELLENNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe service was even better than the food, which was spectacular. Took my husband here for his 60th birthday celebration and the only thing I could possibly say remotely negative is that I didn’t like the color of the room. Lol. We tried several different “beginnings“, two entrées, two desserts and shared everything, so we got to try a lot of different dishes. Our favorites were the smoked ravioli, tartare, PB&J and the ribeye special. Cannot wait to have our next celebration at 1909. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She made the occasion feel very special. More info1909Price: Very Expensive• American• Cooperstown•4.9
- MMaryVIPNew York City •54 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024The amuse-bouche was delicious: a squash puree, with cranberries, and a wonderful crumble -- could be an appetizer! Shrimp Cocktail is superb -- very large shrimp; good cocktail sauce. Caesar Salad tonight was very good: dark green lettuce, very good dressing, nice bread accompaniment. Spouse's crab cake was appropriately prepared and tasty. My bone-in rib-eye was very good. Ordered it medium-rare -- was just on the border, more approaching medium. The Buttered Mashed Potatoes side we had was delicious BUT for the size (small ramekin), the price $16.00, is outrageous!! It wasn't busy, so the noise level was not an issue.More infoTS Steakhouse at Turning StonePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Verona•4.8

- MMicheleNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.More infoCanal Side InnPrice: Expensive• French• Utica•4.7
