Wonderful to see a favorite restaurant even better in the hands of new owners. Veal was superb, and tender. Caesar salad was rather under-whelming. Lobster diablo was enough for two. The sause was light and a compliment to the rich seafood. The wine list is super. Delicious expresso and dessert. Newly redecorated interior lovely. Sound still a problem so conversation is a bit difficult. But overall a great experience. Last but not least our server Mike was attentive and highly professional. We will be back!

Excellent food and our waiter was so attentive. It was my daughter’s 30th. She really enjoyed it. The peppermint cheese cake was so good I ordered one for New Year’s Eve

I was at Ela's a year ago and couldn't wait to go back. I was delighted to see the beautiful Christmas lights on the waterfront and the warm ambience of the restaurant was without change. There were more diners this time and the noise level was a little high in the bar area where our hightop tables were arranged as I requested. Staff was pleasant and there appropriately. My drink was watery and I sent it back reordering it with higher grade vodka. It came back full and much less watery and a bit sweeter as I wanted it. My friend and I devoured a large appetizer of lobster tacos. It was showy and not bad but not great. But I was disappointed by my braised ribs which I had loved last year but was not that memorable tonight. The ribs were a little overdone and the seasoning just off. Maybe too much oregano or sage. It wasn't the perfect dish I remembered from my first visit. I might return again and give it another try. I'd give it a A for effort but a B for performance.

Alexander’s is always our first stop when arriving in Hilton Head. We are never disappointed and this time was even better than before if that’s possible. Michelle was so efficient and pleasant and our roast beef and schnitzel dishes were amazing. Can’t wait to return.

We had our annual Christmas dinner here at Alfred’s. They did not disappoint! From Trent opening the front door to welcome us we received excellent waitstaff. I had the weiner schnitzel and it was excellent. My husband kept raving about his schweinehoxen as well. The evening went by way too fast. Can’t wait to come back soon. And grateful for some leftovers since the portion sizes are great as well.
