- DDAVIDSacramento / Sacramento Valley •18 reviews5.0Dined todayA regular in our rota of fine restaurants in Sacramento, Paragary's never disappoints. We split the Caesar Salad: lemony, garlicky, Parmesan, great flavors. Then one of us had linguine with clams and one of us had the tagliatelle with lamb ragu and we were in pasta heaven. Wine list has CA favorites (Navarro, for one) and some international listings. Our server, Wyman, was attentive and professional on a very busy night.More infoParagary'sPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Sacramento•4.7
- LLindaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur waiter Cam offered the greatest service celebrating my birthday with family. Ambience here is serene and beautiful, food is cooked with simplicity bringing out its true flavors, scallops, filet mignon and rainbow trout were our choices. You can’t go wrong with any of them! We will be back again and again.More infoSeasons 52 - SacramentoPrice: Expensive• American• Arden Fair•4.7
- AAdekemiSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI will be returning to Ella. This initial experience was a lunch time that. I enjoyed the burger and learned about the process of creating the meal, the baking of the bread, and the quality of meat used, just how this meal differs from Ella's sister resturants. The NA tonic was refreshing, I look forward to giving their signature G&T a try. The ambiance is refreshing in Sacramento, where we have so few high-end establishments. I'd recommend visiting solo at the bar, at a table with a friend's or a private space to enjoy your party. Pricing was fine, overall comparable to area resturants.More infoElla Dining Room and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
- KKENVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •46 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoCelebrated friends 77th birthday at Echo & Rig. Greeted by a very personable hostess who seated upon complete party arrival. Server came over to us and asked if we had previously dined at the restaurant. Some of us had, but most was first time. We ordered drinks, then ordered our meals. Two of us ordered the rib steak caps; only to learn they only had one cap left. It was 6:50 pm and only one left?? Others ordered the salmon, ceasar salad, calamari, and the rib tips. Since there was only one rib cap left, I ordered the bavette steak. The salads were large, the calamari was tasty. The rib tips were tasty, but small portion. Pass on this dish f you and your party are hungry. The steaks are also small portion. The bavvette was tough. Birthday boy to had the last rib steak cap said he’s had better. It was a small cap. For a steak house, you would think the steaks would be great; but they’re not. Service was excellent!! Noisy restaurant, mostly a bar. They did gift a dessert to birthday boy; nice gesture. We wouldn’t be back to this so called steakhouse. Again, server and his aids were excellent .More infoEcho & Rig Steakhouse & Butcher Shop - SacramentoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Sacramento•4.7
- MmangiaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •40 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2023Don't judge a book by its cover. My in-laws sniffed at the Starbucks cafe setting and sniffed some more when the tea came in actual Starbucks paper cups. I had my apprehensions too, but boy, were we wrong. In all my years of reviews, I've always held back: never raving and never using exclamation marks, and I'm so glad I saved them for Tribute Bistro, because their food and service were fantastic! I'm always leery about ordering Brussels sprouts because other restaurants either burn them or undercook them, but Tribute's were crispy, fully-cooked and delicious (my ten-year-old kept stealing from my plate)! The yummy chicken pot pie was generously sized and thoughtfully came with a perfectly dressed arugula salad. Burgers were cooked right (although we could have done without the BBQ sauce as we're not used to sweet sauces) but the star of the dish was the thick cut garlic fries: crispy outside, tender inside. I've never had thick cut fries so good. If you like your tomato soup smooth like a bisque, you will be disappointed. Tribute's is country style: very tomatoey with just the right amount of basil--I loved it! The grilled cheese sandwich was all grown-up: real cheese on sourdough. So if you don't mind decor that includes a nook to print out your boarding pass, go to Tribute's Bistro for comfort food. (We'll try the pricier fare next time.)More infoTribute Bar and BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Sacramento•3.6
