Restaurants near Fanwood Station

We had delicious lunch enjoying the filet mignon sandwich & shrimp on the strawberry salad with excellent service from Ryan. The atmosphere was cozy with the glowing fireplace & fabulous red wreath hanging from the ceiling. So festive! It was my friend’s first time there. She, like me, will be back soon.

We were a party of 6 (long-time - 50 years) friends who met at this restaurant for lunch for a first time as it is 1/2 way between our respective areas. Chose it from online reviews. Asked for a round table so we could talk more easily -- we got that Ordered an assortment of appetizers and some ordered from the lunch special and two ordered chicken parm. Everything was very good-- (one of my friends gave the host his suggestion of how to prepare chicken parm -- he said it was good but just too thick- maybe pound it more -- well, if you were to know my friend-- just ignore him !!) anyway -- we all enjoyed this restaurant and as for the waiter -- TOTALLY COOL and really did a GREAT JOB providing us with EXCELLENT SERVICE throughout our more than 2 hours there.. wish I knew this server's name (told to us but we were all talking too much and I can't hear anyway) but, if you go there for lunch this waiter will be outstanding in many ways.. all in all -- anyone living in this area has a great place for Greek (and some Italian) food! Gorgeous decor, creative yummy tapas, fabulous team. I can only guess pricing is what is keeping more diners away. Had the place practically to ourselves. Not exorbitant but multiple small plates per person adds up. $21 per glass for house cab.

We visited for my boyfriend’s birthday and everything was just perfect! Lovely ambiance, attentive staff, food came in a timely fashion. We ordered a few things but the Mushroom Pizza and Scallop Risotto were our favorites of the night. They also put his name on the board wishing him Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. Thank you so much! We will be returning soon!!
