Restaurants near Folley Park

I brought 3 friends for lunch, their first time here. We all loved the food and the great choices on the reasonably priced menu.. Liz was our server and did a great job. We shared a large piece of yummy chocolate cake.

We hadn’t been to DC Steakhouse in a year and thought we give it another chance. We had the exact same issues this time as last year. I especially use Open Table to minimize our wait and also request a quiet table. This year we had to wait for our table, 10-15 minutes, and then we were offered a table next to the front door and hostess stand. My husband requested a different table since we had asked for a quiet one and the hostess said all the tables are loud. They did honor our request but I’m still surprised that it happens every time we visit. We don’t typically have these issues anywhere else when we use Open Table.

Service was great, we got non-alcoholic drinks they were great. We ordered the beef tartar and it was delicious. We got steaks and they were perfectly cooked, wife got a ribeye and I got the truffle mushroom crusted ribeye, they were both amazing. We didn’t get any sides. We also got the olive oil cake, it was ok wouldn’t order that again it was way too sweet. But it was our anniversary and they compd the desert which was so nice of them. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Elliott’s to anyone

We had a lovely lunch in the patio with dear friends of 60+ years we had not seen for 25years. Food was unique and delicious. Extensive wine list, historical ambiance and excellent service made our lunch experience perfect. Thank you!
