- MMaryAnnNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI love Rudy and Paco’s. I’ve been there many times over the years. Usually, everything is excellent. This time, I was disappointed in the atmosphere. Too many tables, too close together. It takes away from the cozy atmosphere. Also, the evening after Thanksgiving, I’m sure was an issue with crowding. Everyone at our table loved their steak. The lobster tail on the special was tough, they said. In my opinion, lobster here in Texas is usually a little dry. I ordered the halibut. It was a little dry. Texas isn’t the place to order halibut. I should have ordered the snapper. I think it had been cooked in the oven too long. Sides were good. The wine list is the very best anywhere. I loved my gin martini and the wine with dinner. Overall, the evening was very nice. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Rudy and Paco’s is a special place. It’s one of my favorite restaurants on the island!More infoRudy & Paco Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galveston•4.9
- BBarryHouston •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOnce again, our experience was great. Had some very tipsy girls there at the beginning but was no big deal. They were cutting loose and having fun. Just loud lol. Our bartender was amazing. He makes the best manhattans and every drink we asked him to make. I’ll return again and again. It’s my go to favorite in my home town.More infoRiondo's RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• Galveston•4.9

- EEdnaNew York City •20 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 23, 2024This is one of my favorite restaurants in Galveston! When I really want a great Italian meal, I head there. It’s a bit tricky to find but definitely worth the challenge. It’s a “must try”! We had the calamari, meat lasagna, eggplant parmigiana and panna cotta. All wonderful!More infoTrattoria la VignaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Galveston•4.8
