Restaurants near Galveston Island Convention Center

There is a lot going, which is to be expected. The service was good and the food was same as any other chain, very processed .The boat ride was a must for the kids.

Celebrating our anniversary, I requested a quiet corner, got exactly that…hubby had the featured surf and turf, I had the mixed grill. We both rated our meals as excellent. We started with a shared jumbo shrimp cocktail and ended with a coffee. He had regular, I had the Millionaire’s coffee. Will be back for our next special occasion.

I booked a last minute reservation for Valentine’s dinner. This was our first time eating at this restaurant, didn’t even know it existed until it showed up on my open table app. The food was amazing and the staff was more than accommodating. Don’t sleep on this restaurant if you’re in Galveston.

Our waiter Trey was an added bonus to our experience at this restaurant. We were visiting Galveston for the first time and of course eating at Gaido's was a first. He waa knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant, humorous and gave his honest opinion about some of the dinner choices we made. We would definitely return. The food was amazing I had the seafood pasta and the portion was very filling and the key lime cheesecake was magnificent!! The mojito, margarita and voodoo were all liquericious!!! Lol

One of our favorite restaurants on the Island, so we always look forward to the experience. Even though we added one person to our party, they accommodated us with a great table. Tomatoes in the 3 tomatoes plate were little large.
