- KKarenGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI'm a regular customer at The Pilot Inn. Change in ownership is very visible. Food massively improved, and coffee is to die for. Portions are nice and big, full of flavour. Literally, in the last 4 days, we have been eating there 3 times.More infoThe Pilot InnPrice: Moderate• British• Gloucester•4.3
- JJackieLondon •11 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited last night and were really impressed by the authentic Tex-Mex flavors. The short menu focuses on quality ingredients, and the food was delicious—especially the Longhorn brisket tacos. However, despite it being a Tuesday night in February, the restaurant was making the classic mistake of cutting costs on staff, which really impacted the experience. The small team was completely overwhelmed, trying to handle table service, drinks, cash transactions, and delivery orders all at once. The guy in the kitchen was working flat out, and I’d be amazed if he can keep that pace up. Unfortunately, this meant our food sat waiting before being served, arriving at the table lukewarm. Pricing was a bit off balance—three saucer-sized tacos felt expensive, but the patatas bravas were excellent value. The homemade salsa was great, but they need to serve more chips with it, and some were sadly soft. Overall, the food was good enough to make us consider giving it another go, but unless they sort out the staffing, they risk losing customers. A real shame, because there’s so much potential here!More infoElote TacosPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Gloucester•4.3

Would highly recommend anyone to experience The Ivy in Cheltenham and they made my 50th wedding anniversary special.More infoThe Ivy Montpellier Brasserie, CheltenhamPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Cheltenham•4.5
- AAndrewGloucestershire/Wiltshire •9 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe menus for the Nook on 5 have been recently changed and improved, Chef, John Burton-Race will be a fantastic addition to the team and overall dining experience. JB-R is pure class in the culinary world and has also been joined by Bruno as front-of-house manager, both are very highly respected in the hospitality industry. I cannot rate the Nook on 5 highly enough and certainly a top 5 restaurant in Cheltenham. A must visit dining experience, a place you can arrive at lunchtime, stay and enjoy all afternoon excellent food, very professional service, the views, and leave having had a very memorable meal. It’s a 10/10 from me!More infoThe Nook On FivePrice: Very Expensive• British• Cheltenham•4.3
