- IIngridVIPNew Mexico •26 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe did the Cave tour with Judy as our guide and it was a wonderful experience. We started with a tasting of sparkling wine in the tasting room. She then led us outside to picnic tables and told us about the winery while we enjoyed tastings of a white blend and a Sauvignon Blanc. From there, we had a tour of the grounds and wine cave (full of aging red wines and dining tables). We ended up in the library, a room for large groups at on end of the cave. Here, we were served cheese and meat boards, with fruit, walnuts, crackers, and chocolates. While we nibbled, we tasted several red wines, as Judy continued her stories about the winery and wine evaluation. Our final stop was back at the tasting room to sample a Cabernet Sauvignon. We really enjoyed Judy’s tour and the wine, and we purchased six bottles. After all the wine, we decided that some food was in order, so we had lunch at an outdoor table. The chili bean and beef soup was delicious, as were the birria empanadas, which we shared.More infoOak Mountain Winery Cave CaféPrice: Expensive• Winery• Temecula•4.5
