- PPippaVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFantastic meal and fantastic atmosphere! We went on a night with live jazz, and I cannot speak more highly of their ensemble! Be prepared to spend a pretty penny, but it was well worth it.More infoThe Regency Room - The Hotel Roanoke & Conference CenterPrice: Expensive• Southern• Roanoke•4.8
- SStevenvipWashington, D.C. Area •66 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLucky is our favorite spot in Roanoke for a cozy, comforting dinner or craft cocktail at the lovely bar. The service is warm and homey but also efficient and attentive. There are so many wonderful dishes to choose from, but we love the insanely great fried chicken, low-country shrimp and grits, African peanut stew, sweet potatoes bathed in a kimchi-miso glaze and Brussels sprouts--you see? It's impossible to pick a single favorite. The one dish that didn't wow us was the smoked meatloaf, which had the taste and texture of something like kielbasa. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. The bar can make almost anything you want but it's worth trying the specials. One of my faves, occasionally on the special cocktail menu, is their pitch-perfect Vieux Carré. One other tip: the wine-by-the-glass selections are a little sparse, so we like going with a group that is open to sharing food and ordering a bottle of wine or two.More infoLuckyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Roanoke•4.9
- SScottVirginia •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat menu selections, all of our main courses were great. Shinning stars are also the side items. Brussels Sprouts were great and grits were super smooth. Drinks were really good, slightly higher priced for the quality given some of the higher end bars like Lucky are priced a dollar or two less. Overall great experience was great, pricey restaurant but worth the price given the venue and food and service quality.More infoSix and Sky Rooftop GrillePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Roanoke•4.6
