- RRichardNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFantastic steak and ale pie, complimented by gorgeous creamy mash. Wife’s smoked fish chowder equally as delicious. Lovely staff too.More infoThe Olde Ship InnPrice: Moderate• British• Seahouses•4.2
- VValerieNewcastle and Northumberland •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFabulous game tasting menu. The outstanding course for me was the first course of teal and scallop. I always love a perfectly cooked scallop but the teal I thought was exceptionally tasty. My husbands favourite was the delicious risotto milanese. HELP! How on earth do I recreate it for him at home to that standard?More infoThe Potted Lobster - BamburghPrice: Expensive• Fish• Bamburgh•4.7

This was our second visit and the food, service and overall experience was as good as our first visit. - JJaneNewcastle and Northumberland •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2024Everything from arriving for pre dinner drinks to the meal was absolutely superb. Bar area and restaurant are well furnished and immaculate. Staff are friendly without being overbearing. Simple, uncluttered tables, with a modern feel. The food was beautiful. We both had different starters, mains and desserts, and we couldn’t fault any of it. We did find it quite expensive, but the quality of the food was among the best we’ve had anywhere. It would be nice to see perhaps a set/fixed price menu for hotel guests, particularly mid week.More infoThe Tempus, Charlton Hall EstatePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Alnwick•4.7
