- AAngelaVIPToronto / Ontario •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoGreat bbq, ambience and service. Beautiful building interior with high ceilings. Service was great, very friendly. Would definitely go back. Husband had gone a few weeks before with the guys and highly recommended we go together. Must get the ribs and brisket. Started with the KFC cauliflower, Shishito peppers and burnt pork ends (pork belly). All was delicious!More infoThe Carbon BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.7
- AAndrewToronto / Ontario •14 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe love George! proposed to come back every year on the date that I propose to my wife. We’ve been doing this for 11 years now. Not only is the food great, and the sommelier-based wine pairings are phenomenal, it’s also the little things like them remembering exactly where we sit, and they give us the same booth every time without even asking. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, the food, the ambience. It’s definitely Worth to go for a special occasion!More infoGeorge RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Financial District•4.8

- LLyndaToronto / Ontario •31 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024My husband and I went for dinner recently to celebrate our anniversary. We chose Stages because it is very close to the Mirvish CAA theatre. It was a cold evening and we got a table right near the fireplace. The restaurant is small and the ambience was lovely. No blaring music! The gentleman who served us was very attentive, so we had great service. We shared a trio of dips served with pita and all 3 dips were delicious. My husband had the crispy tofu with spicy noodles and it was excellent (quite spicy so only recommend if you love hot spicy food). I had the chicken cutlet with fresh cut fries. It was very good. The cutlet was a bit dry, so not greasy, and it's something I can cook myself at home, so I wish I had chosen something else. I did enjoy my meal though and after the dips I wasn't super hungry. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely return.More infoStages Restaurant & LoungePrice: Moderate• Canadian• Harbourfront•3.3
- JJenniferToronto / Ontario •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024had the best experience - solo Saturday night. Had 2 small plates, and one a la carte George vegetarian dish, as well as both Secrette desserts and it was all exceptional! The staff were very warm and attentive. They helped in my choices and I couldn't have been happier. The mango mule tied it all together. Do not miss the gnocchi and the beigne. The decor and atmosphere, and leafing through the Hunt Slonem art book made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.More infoSecrettePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Financial District•4.6
