Restaurants near Granville Historic District

This was a special occasion and we had a reservation. But we waited 10 minutes before the hostess even showed up to the front kiosk. After that, we had a wonderful time. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was out of this world; best steak I have ever had. I do wonder how they accommodate handicapped people as my husband, who has trouble walking, had to walk 20 yards from the handicapped parking spot to the 5 front steps and then climb them.

Food was above average, but not great for the price, and service was attentive, but not at all fast. Disappointed to see that 3% was added to the bill for service charge for credit card use. On a $200 bill that is significant. Should have been very clearly posted on menu.

We love Cooper’s Hawk and are members of the wine club. Our meal took a really long time to be served. Our server apologized and our food was finally served by a gentleman that seemed to be in charge….he apologized as well but we were not offered any type of compensation. I didn’t ask because we love the restaurant and dine there often…..this was not the norm for the restaurant.

We had a lovely time. Our server and the manager were attentive enough, the food was very good and prepared to our request, and the dessert was perfect too. Love the pineapple sauce with the carrot cake. Overall, a very nice anniversary celebration.

Great experience for a Friday night at 7:30. Our waiter Ricky Bobby was awesome !
