Theo & Sebastian who are brothers, started Smiths in the middle of a pandemic! We are seriously passionate about patties and are based in Bourton-On-The-water, also known as ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. Our restaurant sits circa 30 guests making it a small, exclusive place to come and eat. Since opening, we have made it our mission to get our hands on the best possible ingredients. We also use dry aged beef with a great fat content supplied by Aubrey Allen, which marries up with our strong, unique flavour combinations giving you the ultimate bite! We cant forget about or delightful buns, which are handmade daily by a wonderful local baker. All the flour used for our buns is made up of Cotswold flour sourced from local farmers. We went for dinner here on Sunday, and not only was the food absolutely delicious but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I am not sure if it was the manager or the owner who came to our table to check on our food and see us out but she was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely come back.

We throughly enjoyed our food and the ambiance of the dining room and hotel, however we were expecting the usual lunch menu and not the taster menu. This was not clear on the website when we booked. We did however think the taster menue excellent value for such excellence.

Excellent food, great taste with cool atmosphere in a small, efficient restaurant. Had a great birthday meal and everyone enjoyed their food, I'm a vegetarian and the vegi burger was great.
