Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad. Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. We’ve eaten at Carmine’s a few times now but we love eating there during this time of year. Carmine’s is the perfect spot for a festive holiday meal! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decorations that set the holiday mood. The service is top-notch—attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. Their family-style Italian dishes are absolutely delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. So, for being in the heart of NYC, it’s a decent value for our family. Whether it’s a holiday gathering or just a night out, Carmine’s delivers a memorable dining experience

Went here specifically because they allow corkage, and the wine service was excellent. One of the older bottles had a broken cork and they filtered the wine into a decanter for us to remove all the bits of broken cork. Excellent service overall and the steak was excellent.
