A scratch kitchen, but more hit-or-miss than scratch-bliss. Some plates were very good--apps, especially--but other plates were overcooked and uninspired. Nevertheless, CH can claim a very well-priced wine list with decent and mostly mono-varietal house-brand bottles, ranging from predictable and crowd-pleasing to almost ethereal. I enjoyed the service here the most. Our waitress wasn't the most attentive to the table's needs; however, she was kind, extremely well-mannered, and understanding of our whims. And she was young. She was clearly raised with high-caliber, high-character values, and I applaud that. Overall, a lovely atmosphere for a mid-week date night, especially if you're budget-minded but want to test those boundaries just a smidge. But if you're offended by yet another generic "high-end Americana" menu, don't come. Or, alternatively, come for the very appealing front-end "cellar door" experience, taste a host of good wines, enjoy them for what they are, and tempt yourself toward a less insulated sense of culinary arrogance. If you can do that, you'll have yourself a damn fine Wednesday night.

We celebrated our anniversary at Ava MediterrAegean and had an incredible experience! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. A big thanks to Dominic, he was professional, friendly , and very attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and each one was fantastic. As a sweet surprise, the restaurant even treated us to a complimentary dessert to celebrate. Overall, we left very happy and impressed. Highly recommend!

Always consistent! Great service and excellent food and you can’t beat the ambience.

So, this was the first time trying out this restaurant my husband & I were very comfortable, except they put us at a tiny table when they had almost the WHOLE restaurant free and empty; I say this mostly cause my husband is tall & and would obviously be more comfortable at a larger table with more leg room! Overall, it is going to be a terrific place when they work out the bugs! But that was the first thing I noticed! On the plus side, They have a nice a happy hour with appetizers and drinks, And athe most wonderful and beautiful ambiance! Our waitress, Becca, was awesome, and, as empty As empty as it was, Yes, she should have come by just at least one more time, and only stayed away too long just one time! I'm going to give this one more try at brunch/ breakfast and try that out! One bonus is they have what looks like a room you could ask for for a larger party that is very private!

Fantastic tasting and presented food with extremely fresh fish dinners, coupled with outstanding sides. We were delighted by a terrific team of servers. Owners also engaged in conversation presenting The Spot as a warm and friendly restaurant that was perfect for our Brother’s Weekend kick off dinner. Highly recommended by a friend in Orlando and now I know why. BTW…upstairs definitely worth a peak. Cheers!
