- CClareLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA really enjoyable evening in delightful surroundings. The service was friendly and efficient and the food very good. The mezza and meat skewers were the favourites as was the generous serving of baklava. Can also recommend the rhubarb cocktails! We sat at a round table which was perfect for conversation.More infoOPA Greek RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Greek• Windermere•4.5

- PPatriciaCumbria •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Festive roast beef for two was excellent. Christmas pudding with sauce was very good. The trifle would have been better avoided. The topping was cream with pink sprinkles better suited to a children’s menu. The cream had a synthetic taste. The next layer was a rubbery red jelly. The base was a large amount of very dry sponge cake. I suspect it hadn’t seen a teaspoonful of sherry let alone the large quantity the menu suggested it would have. I declined to pay for this dessert. We would however return to the Cross Keys for another main course.More infoThe Cross Keys InnPrice: Moderate• British• Penrith•4.4

- RRobertLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 23, 2024Quiet and elegant dining room overlooking the hotel's extensive gardens, with views down to the lake. The menu is traditional British. All the dishes were very nicely presented and the food was to a high standard. An unusual addition to the table was a small freshly baked loaf, cut into four and served hot in a small pot. Delicious with the olive oil and balsamic dip that is served with it. There is a an extensive wine lost to compliment the meal. It was an enjoyable experience!More infoRegency Restaurant at Macdonald Leeming HousePrice: Expensive• British• Ullswater•3.3
