- CCareyDetroit / Eastern Michigan •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways good food and service, feels like a special night out in nice restaurant but relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The soups are a bit salty sometimes. The restaurant can be a bit noisy when full especially with the piano, so hard to hear if at a larger table, even with only 4 people.More infoWeber's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Ann Arbor•4.7
- DDeborahVIPGreater Boston •9 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoFaith was our server and she was well informed and attentive. Noise level was a little high making it hard to have a conversation at a normal level. Potato Leek soup was delicious, Caesar salads were overly dressed and the dressing did not have an authentic taste, salmon was well prepared, the panko chicken was a bit dry and could have used some herbs tossed in with the panko crust.More infoThe Grateful CrowPrice: Moderate• Global, International• Chelsea•4.5
- TTrixieDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024The server was very nice and attentive. As a long time Red Lobster fan the food on this trip was less than ideal. The fish in the fish and chips meal was more breading than fish and the hush puppies were not hush puppies - they were corn nuggets. Dining companion's medium rare steak was very close to well done.More infoRed Lobster - Jackson - Shirley Dr.Price: Moderate• Seafood• Grand Rapids•3.4
- JJanetDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024This was my first time at the Gandy Dancer and I was impressed. It was Christmas Day and the restaurant was crowded. The staff was wonderful and gave us excellent service. Despite the crowd we never felt neglected. To begin, I ordered the butternut squash soup and my husband had the chowder. For the main course I had the scallops with risotto and my husband had the prime rib. Both meals were excellent and were good portions. The creme brulee for dessert was a perfect ending to a great meal. I thought that the prix fix price was reasonable too. Add all this to the ambiance of the old railroad station and it was a wonderful way to spend Christmas. We will definitely go back.More infoGandy DancerPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Ann Arbor•4.7
- BBrittanyDetroit / Eastern Michigan •4 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024We visited Veritas for dinner before attending the Drinks & Deception show upstairs. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a moderate crowd, but we quickly noticed that very few tables had food, which raised concerns about timing. It took about 10 minutes before a hostess even arrived to seat the three waiting parties they were at the door, suggesting they might have been understaffed or in the midst of a shift change. Once seated, the wait times for both food and drinks were noticeably long, which made it a bit stressful given our plans for the evening. Despite the delays, Veritas offers a fairly priced menu and a pleasant ambiance. I’d consider returning in the future, hoping they address the staffing and wait-time challenges.More infoVeritasPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Jackson•3
