- AAnneVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFrom before the meal through the end, our experience at new-to-us Creekwood was excellent. When we called to say we’d be late because of the weather and traffic, he was extremely gracious and accommodating. The meal was delicious, but an equal highlight was the service; our waiter cheerfully dealt with requests (lots) from our party of three, and our bus-person was lovely as well. THIS is what post-Covid dining should look like! We will return soon. Anne MarshallMore infoCreekwood RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Berkeley•4.6
- EelenaVIPLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoVery homey place (where Aunt Mary’s used to be)with warm skillful service. The food is great. We had the family meal for the table ($75 per person). It was fried petrale sole with lots of accompanying side dishes. First course was boiled peanuts in a delicious sauce. Peanuts were soft and yummy. The dessert was amazing. They called it a panna cotta but it was more custardy and topped with a few pomagrant seeds and a tiny amount pomegranate granita. It was very good and we ate it all even though we were very full.More infoBurdellPrice: Very Expensive• Soul food• Oakland•4.5
- SSukoSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Food was delicious and we enjoyed exploring dishes we had never had or even heard of before. The waiter was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and made sure we were well informed on any usual aspects of a dish (like the Litti Chokla being very dry by design). The prawn pepper fry were fantastic, and the mutton ahua was so spicy but so good. The bread under the beef rib eye really needs to be cut with kitchen shears and not a steak knife, but it's so good (soaking up all the yummy steak flavors) that I have ordered it every time I eat here. The cocktails were lovely.More infoPippalPrice: Moderate• Indian• Emeryville•4.3
