Restaurants near Holiday Inn Express Woodbridge

It was daughter’s 50 th birthday. There was a sign on the table wishing her a happy birthday. Champagne was served to all for a toast. The food was delicious from the flat bread appetizer to all the entrees and the desserts. The alcoholic drinks we great. We had a great time.

This was my second time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The ambiance is always A1 but this time they decorated for Christmas and it was so nice. I will say this is a very lively loud restaurant so if you’re looking for something quiet, this might not be the place for you. The service is always great & the food and drinks are also very delicious.

Wonderful restaurant - great food and top notch service. Only concern was the super different wine ordering process/policy. The wine menu is only online via a QR code AND if you only want a single glass of wine, you literally have to filter through, ask, have them go check (assuming to see if you have a bottle or have a bottle open) . . . if that answer is no, you have to repeat the whole process. For a restaurant of this caliber, I would absolutely expect a more customer friendly process.

We live in Staten Island which has so many Italian restaurants but our favorite is Mulberry Street in Woodbridge. Chef Paul makes so many excellent dishes. Some of our favorites are Beef Bolognese, Veal Sorrrentino & Shrimp Parm (not on the menu but he will make it). Best app is the mussels in a cream wine sauce and best dessert is his pistachio cheesecake. Reasonably priced food and wines. Great vibe with suttle dinner appropriate music in the background.
