A truly lovely evening. Chef Brian and the staff at Grouse took such great care of us. From our coats being checked to our prompt payment being taken, each step of our evening was thoughtful and effortless. Service was unobtrusive but precise with plates and cutlery being switched and wine and cocktails constantly flowing. The scallop dish was my star of the evening with a beautiful balance of rich flavours. It is so wonderful to see the menu change by season. I highly recommend placing your trust in this staff to deliver a spectacular dinner.

I was pleased that there were two vegetarian entrée selections and neither was pasta! I tried the cabbage steak which was really good.

Good service and good food. Portions are a bit small, and it is quite noisy. But overall it was good!

While the food is always great, the service is truly outstanding! If I had more thumbs, I would give them all to her!!

Had an exceptional experience at Taverna last night for a birthday. The atmosphere had great energy. Comfortable with a good volume that you could still visit. Extremely knowledgable and thoughtful server. It was clear she had pride in the food, including all the work done by the kitchen. Great attitude and guidance for both cocktails and food. The food (steak, pastas, vegetables) was perfectly cooked, hot and delicious. Had not been to Taverna in years, but now seeing it as a top 3 food destination in the city. A real gem that is back in the spotlight for our family. Thank you Taverna for an unforgettable evening!
