Restaurants near Hyatt Morristown at Headquarters Plaza

We never go out for Valentine’s Day but coming off of a month long trip, we decided to head out and we’re thankful that Chef Fredy’s had availability at a reasonable hour. Most of the tables were set for two and so with valentine’s conversation it was louder than expected but we could still hear each other. We ordered off of the special menu and were not disappointed! We had the octopus and clams for appetizers and the shrimp/scallops with pasta and the strip steak (order medium because they tend to come less done than traditional orders)… all was amazing - best we’ve had at any restaurant in awhile! They also added giving out a single red rose to each lady coming in …. Somehow I got missed, which I was a bit annoyed at as I watched every other patron receive one! They did correct this. Regardless, we can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes on the regular menu!

This was our first visit to Marjan and it was a very pleasant experience. It was Valentine’s Day- always a busy day for every restaurant, but Marjan handled the volume well, including takeout orders. It’s a small place and it can get noisy when all tables are full. But I was pleased to find that Marjan had the 2 person tables on one side and the larger groups on the other side of the restaurant. I had the beef kebab and the meat was very tender. My husband raved about his vegetarian selections and his milkshake. We both definitely want to return soon.

This may be the best sushi restaurant that I've been to. I was very impressed by the selection of menu options. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The presentation was fantastic and the attention to detail beyond compare. The addition of wagyu to the menu made the meal that much more enjoyable.

We had a good experience. The food was good and the atmosphere was also good. The wine list is limited but the options represented the major regions. Overall, I encourage everyone to try Parkside Tavern for an high quality Tavern experience.
