Restaurants near Hydeaway Bay Beach House

We went to Eastwoods for the first time for dinner and it did not disappoint. We ordered the hiramasa kingfish sashimi small plate, Fried Calamari small plate and the whole coral coast barramundi fish. My husband and I shared all 3 dishes and they were divine. The service was impeccable, prompt and very friendly. Our waitress (Reane I think her name was) was very professional and informative on recommendations. If you are in Airlie Beach give this spot a go. The ice tea cocktail is so tasty. We will definitely be back.

Our group of four started with some delicious cocktails and sweet potato chips and just chilled for a while enjoying the live music and great atmosphere. After a second round of drinks where we sampled more of the great cocktail selection we moved onto Beer battered fish and chips, spaghetti bolognese and fettuccine carbonara. All the food was wonderful, as we have always found it to be, and the service was friendly and efficient. Northerlies is our go to spot for a great meal and a lovely afternoon/evening whenever we are visiting Airlie Beach.

The thunderstorm had just started when we arrived. They had us seated within minutes and were very prompt with the service. Unfortunately our friends were a little under-whelmed with their meals. They both had the fish and it was overcooked and quite dry. My meal was delicious and my husband was happy with his meal. Thank you for your service. It was a lovely way to spend our New Years Day. Ps. So glad I pre booked.

Great Food ,Great service. I will make it a habit to stop into The Metropole before going to the Proserpine Entertainment Centre for concert for a perfect date night.
