- STSharonTRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •10 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe love Tupelo Honey. I brought my 9 yr old grandson with me for dinner and he absolutely loved his classic chicken and waffles. His eyes rolled to the back of his head when he took his first bite. I had the lightly dusted fried chicken breast and a side Caesar salad. The fried chicken was good but not stellar. The meat was dry, but still tasty. In my experience fried chicken is always juicy so - 4 stars for the chicken. 4 stars for service because our server never asked if we wanted another drink and my glass was empty for awhile. It was a good evening and my grandson really enjoyed himself.More infoTupelo Honey - Downtown AshevillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Southern• Asheville•4.6

- MMeganDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined on Mar 6, 2025We absolutely loved our dinner here! The service was great, each dish was a delight, and came out so fast. We tried several shareables, a main, and two desserts. Such hidden gem, exactly what we always hope for when trying out a restaurant for the first time. We will be back!More infoLittle D'sPrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.8
- JJamesVIPCincinnati / Dayton •12 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We had an excellent dinner at Rye Knot! Our group of five included two people who eat gluten-free, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of options available – way more than their website or Yelp lets on. If you’re gluten intolerant, this place is a hidden gem with tons of choices. We’re always on the lookout for spots north of Asheville, and Rye Knot was a great new find. My wife ordered a gluten-free Reuben with gluten-free fries, and my daughter had a gluten-free sandwich. The rest of us enjoyed the fish and chips, a filet, and the meatloaf – everything was delicious. Portions were generous, leaning on the larger side, which we appreciated. The drink menu is extensive, with lots of beer and cocktail options. Every bar order we tried was excellent. While they seemed a little short-staffed, the service didn’t skip a beat. The manager, chef, and bartender all pitched in to help serve, and it really showed – we didn’t experience any delays. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a laid-back, unpretentious, and slightly military-inspired vibe. Rye Knot is definitely on our list of places to return to. Highly recommend!More infoRye KnotPrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.5
