Beautiful restaurant with perfect ambiance for a nice quiet dinner out with friends. Location is nice, but parking can be a challenge at holidays, though valet nearby is an option besides all of the street parking around.

All was great. Our reservation was at 5:30 but we arrived just before 5. Had to wait a few minutes since, unbeknown to us…… they don’t open until 5 on Sat. Oysters were great.

Our experience was very positive. The waiter was friendly and engaging. The food was reasonably priced, and we were allowed to substitute sides. It was quiet enough for us to converse with ease. The food itself was great. My chicken breast was moist and tender, and the Brussels sprouts were to DIE for! One of my personal measures of a restaurant is the quality of the coffee. The coffee was VERY good. My only negative comment is that the air conditioning was a little excessive and blew directly down onto my meal, causing it to get cold. I rarely comment about this because I am very warm-natured, but I do mind if it affects my meal. Patrons around us were wearing their coats and had similar complaints. The waiter said that the restaurant’s administration set the controls and the restaurant itself could not adjust it. I just kept the little menu and put it over the top of my coffee cup to keep it out of the wind. That was a minor inconvenience in comparison to the remainder of our experience however. I do recommend this restaurant.

Incredible service, amazing food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, beautiful location and interior, One Thirty Five is the number one place for fine-dining in the Waco area. Christopher, the Bar Manager, was wonderfully knowledgeable of their wine and pairings, and personally curated a dinner and its pairings for me and my girlfriend’s date. Truly, it was an amazing experience all around and made for a very special night. I would HIGHLY recommend One Thirty Five to anyone who is looking for the perfect place to impress your significant other, or who are looking for the best upscale dining in Waco. Don’t bother making a reservation. We showed up 15 min before our time, and were told 10-20 min, but we’re seated until 20 min after our reservation time. This impacted the timeline of the rest of our evening.
