This was such a great meal, with excellent service from Nick. Such an amazing sunset view. Food and wine were delicious. Unpretentious atmosphere. We’ll be back!

We had an amazing experience with Brooklyn as our server. We visited Gather on Maui on our first night of vacation and felt the warm welcome from this place's ambiance and wait staff. Brooklyn was very knowledgeable about the specials and helped us pick the most amazing dishes that pleased our entire party. She was very intentional and made sure that we had everything we wanted. She even had the bar make a Carajillo(a Colombian coffee beverage) upon request. Five star experience! We would love to dine here again in the future.

Great dinner for our last night. My parents both said their meals were their favorites of the trip and both finished everything. Dad had the ribs and Mom the filet mignon salad. I had the Thai shrimp and curry and my husband the ribeye. He said the steak was good but too thin. It was cooked well. Drinks were good! We would go again for sure.

Last night, I celebrated my birthday dinner at Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect—the food, the service, and the breathtaking scenery. I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s expertise. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed and well cared for throughout the evening. The highlight, however, was the setting. Watching the sun set while sipping on pre-dinner cocktails was absolutely magical. The colors reflecting off the water created a serene and romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the dining experience. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa for anyone looking for a memorable night out. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a desire for amazing food and views, this place delivers on all fronts!

I would have come to Monkeypod every day of this vacation if I could have. The food and drinks are all such high quality and the service was amazing! Our favorites were the chicken wings, fish and chips, and the Monkeypod Mai Tai (the virgin Mai Tai was also great). Will definitely return our next time in Maui!
