Essence is a casual restaurant that serves French cuisine using seasonal ingredients. Chef Shiro Naito opened the restaurant in 2010 to provide dishes that celebrate the essence of each season. Essence was so wonderful. The food was delicious, with unique tastes and flavors, the chef was very friendly and attentive, and (most importantly) my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was really enjoying the bread rolls ... and as we were leaving the chef offered us a fresh loaf to take home! Just an all around great experience.
