Restaurants near Lakeshore City Park

The food at Roots was excellent. We have never had better halibut anywhere. Possibly the filet mignon had too many flavors for the taste of the delicious meat to come through, but everything else was very good. The service was wonderful and especially understanding as we tried to accommodate and corral the toddler in our party. I would go back to Roots in a heartbeat!

We celebrated our anniversary and felt like royalty by the attention we received. My steak was prepared to perfection and my husband had the best battered fish and chips ever. Beautiful setting, table with great view of the river. Desert was delicious.

We went to Black Rabbit for thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful time. The turkey, potatoes and gravy were delicious. The service was A+. We’re already planning to go back.

Had a great time. Our server was really amazing. What a nice gal.

The brussel sprouts are amazing. I had to wait a bit before someone came to take my drink order but other than that everything was fine. I would return.
